It is characterized because the printing is made by plates with the image to be printed separated by colors.

If the printing is in color (not pantones), it is done with the mixture of the four main colors CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow and black).

Corporate colors can also be printed (Pantone) by making a specific plate for each color.

In addition to Pantone inks, it is also possible to print with security inks (visible only with UVI readers).

Direct ink printing (Pantone)
A unique feature of offset printing is that it is possible to print direct inks (Pantone).
Pantone colors are used to achieve a right color, since cannot be reproduced with CMYK inks, Therefore, a special ink must be used to achieve them. There are direct colors fluorescent, metallic, etc.
